Frequently Asked Questions

Initial consultation | $30 

(For all initial visits, including regular and cosmetic acupuncture. 15- 30 minutes. 

If it exceeds 30 minutes, there is an additional charge of $20)

Acupuncture | $60 per session

(A session may last from 60 to 80 minutes. Cupping, Moxibustion, and Ear Acupuncture may

also be used during the treatment if deemed necessary.)

Cosmetic acupuncture | $100 per session  

(The session involves needling on systemic points as well as facial points, facial massage & gua sha. 75 - 90 min)

Herbal Medicine | $15 - 25 per day

(Each patient is given a personalized prescription. 

It will be dispensed in the form of concentrated granules packaged in a plastic container.)

Failure to Meet Cancellation Policy | $50 

Initially, there will be an initial consultation session with the practitioner. This session will consist of four diagnostic methods. These are inspection (observation), auditation (listening) & olfaction (smelling), inquiry, and palpation. Additionally, the practitioner may inquire about the Western medical diagnoses that were given to the patient and the results of any medical examination.  These are used to examine a disease from different angles for a systematic understanding of a disease. This ensures a comprehensive analysis and assists in correct diagnosis. 

At the end of the consultation, the practitioner will make a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) diagnosis based on the information collected. They will also recommend a form of treatment and treatment plan that best suits the patient.  

Please don't fast before the treatment. We will have food/drink in cases of emergency but low blood sugar can sometimes result in feeling faint during or after an acupuncture treatment. 

We will provide draping and a heat lamp to keep you warm during the treatment but wearing loose items of clothing will be helpful in giving access to acupuncture points while maintaining your privacy. 

Please be courteous and give us a call or an email at least 24 hours before the appointment time.

We demand that you contact us even if it is during the weekend.  

Cancellations or rescheduling made after that will be charged a fee of $50. 

The same fee will be applied to a no-show. 

This is only fair since there could have been other patients who would have taken the appointment slot you were holding.
